Landmarks include the 17th-century Castelo do Queijo fortress and the Jardim do Passeio Alegre.
The Club’s historic building on Rua Bela dates from the 17th century and was rebuilt in 1926. It was redesigned by celebrated architect José Marques da Silva, who also redesigned iconic landmarks such as Casa de Serralves and São Bento train station.
