Masslab

Architect, Porto, Portugal

MASSlab is an innovative contemporary design studio active in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and comprehensive planning. The Porto based studio was founded in 2014 and is owned and operated by three partners: Diogo Rocha, Duarte Fontes and Lourenço Rodrigues. 

The supporting multidisciplinary design team features a fertile mix of professional and educational backgrounds. The core team is complemented with a strong and growing network of collaborators across Europe. 

MASSlab is currently working to realise a diverse and exciting portfolio of projects in Portugal and abroad, that range from public spaces, buildings and masterplans. 

Matriz

Construction 

Founded in 1980 Matriz are an acclaimed construction company and have been operating in the greater Porto area for over thirty-five years.  

Featuring a team of 75 and over 375 realised projects by noteworthy architects,  Matriz’s constant success in the field of construction is testament to the winning combination of professionalism, friendship and trust.  

Trix & Robert Haussmann

Designers 

A dynamic duo and design powerhouse, Trix and Robert Haussmann have made significant contributions to the field of design and interiors, both in Switzerland and internationally. With strong roots in modern architecture, they have had long collaborative careers and produced a vast creative output. Robert studied under Gerrit Rietveld and Johannes Itten, while Trix completed her architectural studies at the ETH Zurich. 

The couple has had numerous solo exhibitions and collaborated on many architectural and design projects, including the Kronenhalle Bar in Zurich and the Hotel Plaza in Basel. In 2013, they were awarded the Grand Prix Design by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture.

Ris + Partners

Architects, Switzerland

For over 25 years, Antoine Ris has developed his activities within his firm known as Ris + Partners Architects SA.

Antoine Ris has repeatedly distinguished himself by winning numerous awards in architecture and urban planning competitions. Award-winning projects in the context of the new village of Chêne-Bougeries or the reconstruction of the souks in Beirut are examples of the diversity of his work. He has worked on a local, national, and international scale, leading projects in places such as Canada, New York, and Dubai. He has also conducted numerous feasibility studies and provided project management services, including the rehabilitation of Uni-Dufour with the Japanese artist Tatsuo Myajima.

Juliette Spillmann

Designer, London

Born and raised in Geneva, her career began after studying at the prestigious Van Der Kelen Institute.

Juliette Spillmann created JUSSTLINK as Artistic Director in 2005 following an extensive career as Set Designer, Paint Decorator, and Interior Designer.

She is credited with an astute and discerning eye for gorgeous interiors as well as a vision toward artistic excellence.

The designer has worked for clients such as MH de Taillac, Luc Besson, Adam Clayton, Larry Gagosian, Mourad Mazouz just to name a few, as well as an extensive list of luxury labels such as Hermès, Dior and Joseph.
